I have a few methods I am using to publicize that I created this group on May 15th. If I am correct that there is a need for it, that wont be clear right away.
If/when it becomes a useful forum, I will get drowned out, and just be in the background as a moderator.
So before that happens, now is the time to add more detail about how I hope it will work.
I will do that in bits, once a day at least.

About article and news story links…
I will put them as comments at the bottom of posts, rather than as posts themselves. I already did that yesterday for two articles. That way the timeline will be dominated by things people say here, rather than by links to other things on the internet.
Another bit:
Shouldn’t this be somewhere other than Facebook, since we all know by now that Mark Zuckerberg and company are part of the toxicity that got America to where it is now, and that Facebook is now mainly a conservative place?
Yes. It should be somewhere else. And, it may eventually move. But unfortunately, Facebook has been abandoned by just a tiny fraction of progressive people, so it is still the main platform for most of them. So, this is where this group needed to originate.
NOTE:
The post above is kinda obsolete. It was written during the first few days after I started Ohio Progressive Life, when I was trying to make it work as a Facebook group.
As you can see, it is now a WordPress blog, which is much better than a Facebook group.
